How to print a Royal Mail label at 6x4 on a thermal printer
Guide · works with any Royal Mail label PDF or screenshot
Royal Mail labels bought online can come laid out on an A4 page, sometimes with more than one label per sheet. A 6x4 thermal printer needs each label on its own 6x4 page.
1. Get your Royal Mail label
Download your label PDF from Royal Mail (Click & Drop or online postage).
2. Crop it to 6x4
- Open Label Cropper and choose 4 × 6 in (6×4) as the label size (or your printer's size).
- Drop in the label PDF, JPG or PNG. It stays on your device: nothing is uploaded.
- Label Cropper auto-detects the label. Drag the corners to fine-tune; the preview shows exactly what will print.
- Click Download this label (free) to get a PDF that's exactly 6×4.
- Print it at 100% / actual size (not "fit to page") on your thermal printer.

Tips
- If several labels share one A4 page, use 'Add another label' to put a box on each one, then bulk download to get them all as separate 6x4 pages.
- Click & Drop has its own label format settings. If a 6x4 thermal option is available for your account, use that; Label Cropper covers the cases where it isn't.
Lots of labels at once?
Single labels are always free. If you have a multi-page PDF or a sheet with several labels, a Pro day pass or monthly plan crops every label into one print-ready PDF in a single click.
